ANALYSIS OF EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION AT THE REGIONAL HOSPITAL OF PROF. DR. H. M. ANWAR MAKKATUTU BANTAENG
Abstract
Analysis of employee satisfaction at the Regional Hospital of Prof. Dr. H. M. Anwar Makkatutu Bantaeng (Supervised by Mattalatta as Supervisor I and Hardiyono as Supervisor II). This study aims to determine employee job satisfaction at the Regional Hospital of Prof. Dr. H. M. Anwar Makkatutu, Bantaeng Regency by considering factors servant leadership, interpersonal communication, and work motivation, both directly and indirectly. The research design used was a case study with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted on all 692 hospital employees, with a sample of 253 employees selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews, then analysed using path analysis statistical method. The results showed that servant leadership, interpersonal communication, and work motivation significantly affect employee job satisfaction, both directly and indirectly. Work motivation was found to have a role as an intervening variable that strengthens the relationship between servant leadership and interpersonal communication with job satisfaction. Of the three variables, servant leadership had a greater influence on employee job satisfaction than interpersonal communication. These findings confirm the importance of implementing service-orientated leadership and effective communication in creating a motivating work environment and increasing employee job satisfaction in hospitals
