The Effect of Leadership Qualities and Work Culture on Teamwork and Its Impact on the Perfor-mance of Financial Management of Mamuju Hospital as a Regional Public Service Agency
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of leadership quality and work culture on teamwork and performance of financial management of Mamuju Hospital, and also the effect of leadership quality and work culture on the performance of financial management through teamwork of Mamuju Hospital. This study is a descriptive and verification research with a quantitative approach. Mamuju Hospital as the object of research, where the sample involved all hospital employees totaling 194 employees. Data collection includes questionnaires, observations and literature studies with the data analysis technique used is path analysis which is processed using SPSS version 25.0 statistical software. Based on the results of the study, it shows that optimizing the performance of financial management of Mamuju Hospital is strongly related to the quality of leadership, work culture, and teamwork. However, for various variables studied, teamwork had the strongest impact on improving the performance of financial management of Mamuju Hospital. This shows that teamwork has a very significant role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial management in the hospital. As an intervening variable, teamwork proved to be the most effective in providing solutions to problems that occurred, as well as being a key factor in achieving success in financial management of Mamuju Hospital.
