Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership quality on employee performance through motivation and organizational commitment in the distribution of assistance for the Independent Workforce Activities Program at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration in Gowa Regency. Using a quantitative approach with path analysis, data were collected from 113 employees. The results indicate that leadership quality significantly affects organizational commitment, public service motivation, and employee performance. Additionally, organizational commitment and motivation mediate the relationship between leadership quality and performance. These findings highlight the importance of effective leadership in enhancing employee performance through psychological and motivational mechanisms.
