Analysis of Online Buying and Selling Transactions Through the Shopee Application Based Islamic Economic Perspective
Abstract
This study aims to determine the transactions and models used for buying and selling online through the Shopee application according to the perspective of Islamic economics. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive research model using a survey. With ten informants, this research focuses on shopee users in the Islamic Economics study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. The data in this study uses primary data and secondary data. This study shows that there are many marketplaces in Indonesia, but the most frequently visited marketplace site today is the shopee marketplace site. Shopee is the largest online buying and selling center in Indonesia, visited by more than 100,000 visitors with a significant increase in transaction value, especially for big moments in Indonesia. A review of Islamic business ethics on online buying and selling on the official shopee website, the transacting party must fulfill all the contracts he has made in the online sale and purchase. And you have to be responsible, especially for businesspeople, you can take profits in buying and selling, but the buyer's rights must still be respected.
